Thank you for your interest in supporting Corazon Ministries, Inc. Our annual operating budget is approximately $180,000, including salaries and benefits.  Our staff and budget are small, but our hundreds of eager and enthusiastic volunteers provide unconditional love and life-giving support to over 500 men, women and children each week!

Last year we served over 27,000 hot, nutritious meals, offered primary healthcare and dermatology services to over 2,200 guests, distributed over 4,200 hygiene packets and provided 4,200 warm showers.

While many of our guests come to CMI initially for the services, many stay for the community. A lack of network is one of the reasons for and symptoms of homelessness. At CMI, all are welcome and we believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect.

We are able to keep expenses low due to strategic partnerships with the San Antonio Food Bank, and through donations of in-kind items. Each year we distribute over 2,500 new pair of socks and underwear through the shower ministry. Guests have the opportunity to select outfits each week from the clothes closet.

• $1,000 = 1,500 hot, nutritious meals
• $250 = 125 packages of new socks and underwear
• $100 = 100 hygiene packets

• Men’s jeans and khakis – especially waist sizes under 36
• Belts for men and women
• Ladies jeans – especially sizes under 10
• Undergarments for men and women – especially smaller sizes
• Backpacks – sturdy, adult size
• Socks – tube socks are preferable for men; the women love fun, colorful options
• Travel-size toiletries, including razors
• Sturdy walking shoes and work boots
• Books and magazines for the lending library

Donations may be dropped off at the Travis Park Church office, Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.  A tax deductible donation form may be obtained from the church office.
